01 - Cook macaroni in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, then drain thoroughly.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion, cook until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
03 - Stir barbecue sauce into the beef mixture. Reduce heat and simmer for 3–5 minutes to combine flavors.
04 - Add drained macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet. Stir gently until cheese is melted and pasta is fully coated.
