# Components:
→ Tuna Salad
01 - 1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained
02 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
03 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
04 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
05 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Black pepper, to taste
→ Sandwich Assembly
08 - 4 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread
09 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
10 - 4 slices cheddar cheese or Swiss cheese
# Method:
01 - Combine tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, red onion, celery, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl until fully incorporated.
02 - Arrange bread slices on a clean surface and evenly spread softened butter on one side of each slice.
03 - On the unbuttered side of two bread slices, layer one slice of cheese, half of the tuna salad mixture, a second slice of cheese, then top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side out.
04 - Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Transfer assembled sandwiches to the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
